(Yes, it trumps Lost, Friends, Saved by the Bell and Full House any day in my book!! I swear I was born in the wrong generation...)
So, you have no idea how happy I was to hear that the greatest show ever made is now, as of October 2011, available on Netflix Instant! Maybe we are one step closer to an official The Wonder Years DVD box set, which has yet to be released due to music licensing issues...
My parents actually gave me a bootleg version of all six seasons of The Wonder Years for Christmas in 2004. The quality was surprisingly superb, and my mom and I got so addicted watching episode after episode that she bought her own box set so she could continue watching when I went back to college!
There really is nothing like watching the teenage angst of the Kevin and Winnie romance as it unfolds... So if it's been a while since you've seen the show, or if you've never seen it before, I hope you enjoy discovering it or rediscovering it again as well!
xoxo
I loved this show, although Friends will always be number one in my book. I started watching the last season on Netflix a few weeks ago!
ReplyDeletekristen - can you believe Friends is on Nick at Nite? That really makes me feel old...!
DeleteI am SO obsessed with The Wonder Years, and also swear I was born in the wrong generation! I have been watching it on Netflix and I have 2 more episodes to watch on Season 5 and then there is only one more season... :( The Netflix opener is the British version (also due to music licensing issues. Did you notice that? I'm obsessed...
ReplyDeleteMeg - made my day to hear you are a Wonder Years fan, as well!!! So glad you've been enjoying it on Netflix!! And enjoy season 6, I bawl just thinking about that last episode...!
